We called it the RazoRock NEXT LEVEL for a reason.

This razor represents the culmination of everything we’ve learned from designing and manufacturing our previous razors, refined, re-engineered, and taken to the next level in both performance and customization.

The NEXT LEVEL features the highest degree of adjustability we’ve ever produced in terms of blade gap and blade exposure. This allows you to fine-tune the shave and razor feel exactly to your preference, whether you’re chasing maximum efficiency, ultimate comfort, or the perfect balance of both.

To achieve what we believe is best-in-class blade alignment and locating accuracy, we combined center slot tabs with corner posts, a machining-intensive approach that significantly increases CNC time but delivers exceptional results. When the top cap mates with the base plate, you’ll feel a precise, confidence-inspiring locking sensation that immediately communicates accuracy, safety, and quality. This is precision you can feel.

Many loyal RazoRock users have told us how much they love our edge-to-guard design on the Lupo and Recurve razors, so we carried that philosophy into the NEXT LEVEL. The result is excellent visibility and control, making this razor especially easy to use for fine detailing around a moustache, goatee, sideburns, or for lining up a beard.

Seasoned safety razor enthusiasts will also notice the added refinement on the NEXT LEVEL top cap. The leading edge of the cap extends closer to the blade edge and is carefully beveled to increase blade support and rigidity. More blade rigidity means less chatter, less irritation, and a smoother, more controlled shave.

We didn’t stop there. The sides of the base plate are subtly concave to comfortably nest your thumb and forefinger during assembly and disassembly. The lather slot is milled on an angle to improve lather flow and rinse-through. These are small details you may not immediately notice, but they’re the kind of thoughtful refinements we obsess over to make our razors more intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable to use.

Like all our billet-milled stainless razors, the RazoRock NEXT LEVEL is crafted from 316L marine-grade stainless steel and precision-machined in Ontario, Canada. Due to the complexity of the design, each razor is produced on a state-of-the-art German 5-axis CNC machine, holding tolerances of ±0.001 inch for exceptional consistency and performance.

For the initial launch, we are offering the RazoRock NEXT LEVEL in multiple configurations. Each razor shares the same top cap, while the base plates are unique. Below, the razors are listed from most aggressive to least aggressive, based on feedback from our testing team:

The RazoRock NEXT LEVEL can be used with any M5 x 0.8 threaded handle. We offer a wide selection of premium RazoRock handles, or you can purchase the razor head separately and pair it with the handle of your choice.

Finish: Please note, these razors are tools, not jewels. We use a vibratory tumbling finish process which maintains the highest possible tolerances for the razors. This means the razors will not be mirror finished and will not be mark-free. The razors may have some milling marks or finishing marks. The razors can always be jewelry polished by the client later but our goal is to sell the razor at the best possible tolerances and lowest possible price. The metal-on-metal contact from the handle locking against the base-plate will create a ring mark on the base. It's common for handles to have micro dents from the tumbled finish.

Finish: 3 stage, 24 hour, machine vibratory finish. It's important to note that our finish is designed to de-burr and make the pieces smooth with minimum effect on machining tolerances. It's a tool-like finish and not a mirror-type high polish; each piece is unique (no two pieces will be identical). We don't believe in hand polishing our machined safety razors because it's self-defeating. We spend so much time and effort getting the tolerances tight, a hand polish will just ruin these tolerances. We would rather give you a quality tool-like finish at a great price and leave it up to you if you want to put a jewelry type polish or gun-kote at the razor later at additional cost.
