  • RazoRock Stainless Steel Lupo 127 Double-Edge Razor (Safety Bar)

    PROUDLY MADE IN ONTARIO, CANADA

The Lupo 127 is the newest addition to the Lupo range and is the most aggressive version in the group.Ā  Many customers have been asking for a more aggressive option which is efficient and we think we have delivered with the new Lupo 127.Ā Ā The original RazoRock Lupo was such a hit with our clients that we decided it was time to create a "gen two" version milled from marine-grade stainless steel. We listened to your feedback from the aluminum Lupo and took it to the design board to come up with a razor that is even better! The three most popular suggestions were; a) You wanted the razor to be able to rest on the side of its head while still keeping the guard width the same as the width of the blade for excellent maneuverability; b) You wanted more optionality in terms of aggression, and; c) Many of you suggested a scalloped bar would add a nice aesthetic touch!

We delivered on all three suggestions and now the RazoRock SS Lupo is NOW available in SEVEN different versions,

    1. Lupo 58 - a 0.58 mm safety bar
    2. Lupo 72 - a 0.72 mm safety bar
    3. Lupo OPEN COMB 72 -Ā a 0.72 mmĀ Open CombĀ for those seeking a lot more aggression and efficiency - Same gap and exposure as Safety Bar 72 but will be slightly more aggressive due to the Open Comb design
    4. Lupo 95 - a 0.95 mm safety bar for those seeking a lot more aggression and efficiency
    5. Lupo OPEN COMB 95 -Ā a 0.95 mmĀ Open CombĀ for those seeking a lot more aggression and efficiency - Same gap and exposure as Safety Bar 95 but will be slightly more aggressive due to the Open Comb design
    6. Lupo DC - a 0.72/0.95 dual-comb version which offers a medium-aggressive open comb side and a more aggressive safety bar side.
    7. Lupo 127 - a 1.27 mm safety bar for those seeking a lot more aggression and efficiency

Finish:Ā Please note, these razors are tools, not jewels. We use a vibratory tumbling finish process that maintains the highest possible tolerances for the razors. This means the razors will not be mirror finished and will not be mark-free. The razors may have some milling marks or finishing marks. The razors can always be jewelry polished by the client later but our goal is to sell the razor at the best possible tolerances and lowest possible price. The metal-on-metal contact from the handle locking against the base-plate will create a ring mark on the base. It's common for handles to have micro dents from the tumbled finish.

      Head Weight:Ā ~26 g (0.92 oz)

Handle Diameter x Length and Handle Weight:

      1. Bulldog, 13 mm x 90 mm, ~2.8 oz weight
      2. Super Knurl, 13 mm x 90 mm, ~2.9 oz weight
      3. HD, 13 mm x 82 mm (14 mm Butt End), ~2.6 oz weight
      4. UFO, 13 mm x 85 mm, ~2.3 oz weight
      5. Barber Pole, 12 mm x 85 mm (Approx. 14 mm Butt End), ~2.6 oz weight
      6. Titanium Halo, 13 mm x 100 mm, ~1.7 oz weight

*NOTE: If you are buying the Base Plate ONLY option for $37.99 USD, you will need to already have a Top Cap from this version of the Lupo. The Base Plates are not intended to be used with aluminum Lupo Top Caps or Taps Caps from the older DLC Lupo.

      Blade Gap:Ā 1.27Ā mm

      Blade Exposure:Ā Positive

Material:Ā 316L Marine Grade Stainless Steel

      Build:Ā Fully CNC machinedĀ

Finish:Ā 3 stage, 24 hour, machine vibratory finish. It's important to note that our finish is designed to de-burr and make the pieces smooth with minimum effect on machining tolerances. It's a tool-like finish and not a mirror-type high polish; each piece is unique (no two pieces will be identical). We don't believe in hand polishing our machined safety razors because it's self-defeating. We spend so much time and effort getting the tolerances tight, a hand polish will just ruin these tolerances. We would rather give you a quality tool-like finish at a great price and leave it up to you if you want to put a jewelry type polish or gun-kote at the razor later at additional cost.

Other Details:Ā Each razor is engraved with a unique serial number.

Blades: The Lupo 127 uses any standard double-edge blade(Blades sold separately). If you are unsure which blade to buy, try one of our blade samplers.Ā  Click HERE to see all the options and then just click the BACK button to get back to this page.

      Lupo127

I've been shaving almost every day with the GameChanger1.05 for about 4 months and I'm really happy with it! But being as curious as I am, I've now treated myself to the Lupo127. I have to say, it's a little better! These two really have nothing to do with run-of-the-mill razors and I'm really happy with them! Excellent development work!!!

The Lupo 127 is fantastic. smooth, Just got this razor put a Derby Extra in it yes a derby and had a great shave. Had 2 day growth and this puppy did a 2 pass BBS shave no nicks or bites WOW. It is a little too aggressive for me as an every day shaver have the Lupo 95 for that; but it sure opened my eyes. Wonderful job with this razor was worth the wait. Thanks IB for this Razor be using it for the weekends.

Lupo 127 smooth and aggressive, highly recommended

I have always liked aggressive razors (not all some are way to harsh) and the feel of a blade. I will list some of the razors in my daily rotation, CG series 1 L3 DC, Wolfman 96 DC, Razorock Jaws, Asylum Rx v2 (pro-blade), British Streamline (Gem), Gillette Old Style 1918 Army J series. BBS1 with a shim, Gibs 15 modified (I put in blade taps to hold the blade in place). For most of my razors I usually change out the handles for ones that give me a better balance, and the blades I use are Polsilver (Russian and Polish), Wizamet Super Iridium, London Bridge.

You donā€™t have to spend a car payment to get a beautiful razor. The Lupo 127 is a good example of this. I received an email from Italian Barber about the Lupo 127. I use Jaws and wanted to add another razor to my rotation, so I purchased the 127 and was delighted in the shave to the point that I have added the Lupo 127 to my rotation.

I shave in 4 different directions for a BBS, the 127 was efficient in all directions to where the feedback was almost nonexistent. I have found this razor to be a very smooth aggressive razor, leaving me with no irritation or weepers (I will only get weepers when I pay no attention or when I forget to close down the head). To get the balance I wanted I paired the head with a Stork SS Darwin 90, which gives me excellent balance and wonderful aesthetics, as well as a good grip as I rotate the handle in my wet hand as I shave. For me this is a beautiful shaver and would recommend it to anyone that likes aggressive razors.

      Really aggressive

Now that I have had a chance to use the lupo 127 for two weeks. I have to say it's the most aggressive razor I have ever Used . I previously have used the game changer .84 . And when I got that email alerting me that there was a new aggressive lupo razor system my curiosity was peaked and Michael also told me that there is a updated game changer 105 I bought both of them. I have to honestly give the edge to the Lupo 127, it's really aggressive it basically scraped off everything during the first pass. There's a bit of a learning curve with this aggressive razor I have to take my sweet time or I would get Nick's and cuts here and there. Looking at the razor head of the Lupo 127 and game changer 105. There doesn't really see much of a difference but I have to give the aggressiveness to the lupo 127.šŸ‘

      Awesome Razor

I prefer aggressive razors and this one has quickly become one of my favorite. I have other aggressive razors, but in terms of pure efficiency this one is the best. I face and head shave. This razor has produced irritation-free BBS shaves every time I have used it. Just this morning I did a head shave on a few days of hair growth. Loaded this bad boy up with a Bic Chrome Platinum blade and let the Lupo 127 work its magic. Look forward to many more shaves with this razor.
