  • RAZOROCK 1.05-P GAME CHANGER DE SAFETY RAZOR

**NOTE: THIS IS THE NEW AGGRESSIVE GAME CHANGER WITH THE 1.05-P HEAD which was added in September 2023 and created to be MORE aggressive the .84-P HEAD.  It was requested by many customers and it would be in the AGGRESSIVE category on the RazoRock Aggression scale.

Why did we call this razor the Game Changer? It's really simple! This razor was produced to a standard that is superior to razors which typically costs 4-8 times the price, yet in usual RazoRock fashion we are bringing you the highest standards of quality at a price everyone can afford. The RazoRock Game Changer is built to last a lifetime, machined from marine grade billet stainless steel, the same way a Swiss watch case is machined. This is a razor you can depend on forever!

Finish: Please note, these razors are tools, not jewels. We use a vibratory tumbling finish process which maintains the highest possible tolerances for the razors. This means the razors will not be mirror finished and will not be mark-free. The razors may have some milling marks or finishing marks. The razors can always be jewelry polished by the client later but our goal is to sell the razor at the best possible tolerances and lowest possible price. The metal-on-metal contact from the handle locking against the base-plate will create a ring mark on the base. It's common for handles to have micro dents from the tumbled finish.

Build: Full CNC machined to tolerances of two thousandths of an inch

    Head Weight: ~26 g (0.92 oz)

Handle Diameter x Length and Handle Weight:

    1. Bulldog, 13 mm x 90 mm, ~2.8 oz weight
    2. Super Knurl, 13 mm x 90 mm, ~2.9 oz weight
    3. HD, 13 mm x 82 mm (14 mm Butt End), ~2.6 oz weight
    4. UFO, 13 mm x 85 mm, ~2.3 oz weight
    5. Barber Pole, 12 mm x 85 mm (Approx. 14 mm Butt End), ~2.6 oz weight
    6. Titanium Halo, 13 mm x 100 mm, ~1.7 oz weight

    Blade Gap: 1.05 mm

    Blade Exposure: Positive

Material: 316L Marine Grade Stainless Steel

    PROUDLY MADE IN ONTARIO, CANADA

Finish: 3 stage, 24 hour, machine vibratory finish. It's important to note that our finish is designed to de-burr and make the pieces smooth with minimum effect on machining tolerances. It's a tool-like finish and not a mirror-type high polish; each piece is unique (no two pieces will be identical). We don't believe in hand polishing our machined safety razors because it's self-defeating. We spend so much time and effort getting the tolerances tight, a hand polish will just ruin these tolerances. We would rather give you a quality tool-like finish at a great price and leave it up to you if you want to put a jewelry type polish or gun-kote at the razor later at additional cost.

Other Details: Each razor is engraved with a unique serial number.

How to load the blade: The easiest way to load a DE blade into the RazoRock Game Changer razor is to put the base plate of the razor head (the flat one) in the palm of your hand, then drop DE blade over the alignment posts. Then you can put the top cap on and proceed to screw down the handle locking the blade into the razor head.

    Game Changer 1.05-P and .76-P

Love this razor. I've been using 2 plates alternating between the Halo Titanium handle as well as the UFO SS, and all combos are superb. I'm mostly using the .76-P plate, but am pleasantly surprised by the smoothness and efficiency of the 1.05-P.

I'm a repeat customer, because IB provide an exemplary service, and this transaction was no different.

The GC 1.05 (for me) is a nice daily driver. Efficient and smooth, and with no drama. For a complete stainless steel razor, for the price, it's a superb buy.

    Highly recommend

Not as aggressive as they let on. Efficent yes.

Efficency is the ability to easily take down hair of various lengths and types. Aggressiveness is FEELING the razor.. FEELING the blade… I’m the minority that loves aggressive razors. It took down 9 day chest and arm hair (chest hair is really course) with ease.. not much blade feel which was surprising.. although my RazoRock hawk v3 with oc plate is 10x as aggressive, it’s only 20% better at one pass with no missing hair. I used feather blades and honestly it felt like a dream. I wouldn’t say this is RazoRocks best razor as far as efficency and aggressiveness go, but for a lightly seasoned shaver, this would be a treat.. now make one with blade feel for days lol…

This razor 'rocks', no pun intended. It is awesome!

I had the most incredible wet shave experience with this new razor. I paired it with a Feather DE blade and one of my Trufitt & Hill shave creams.

Knowing that it is an aggressive razor, I lightly passed over my beard and could hear that great audible feedback 'skritch' sound. I could hardly feel the razor as it glided over my face, but with that audible feedback I knew it was effortlessly slicing off that stubble. It was similar to when I use a straight razor, no pressure, at the right angle and just remove the shave cream.

I have a large collection of other highly rated razors, both straight and D.E. including some absolute diamonds in the 1930-1950 range Gillette razors, I always thought that nothing could give me a cleaner shave result. Well after using your razor with the 'same blade', after a few days, I could not believe the consistent, close, smooth, nick free results.

You mentioned in the description that you considered this razor to be a tool, not a jewel, and warned that there might be some imperfections on the head or handle due to the finishing process. I have a jewelers loupe and looked it over closely before the first use. If there were any imperfections, I could not find them. The smooth surfaces were defect free and shiny; the barber pole handle was flawless.

Give the person who either designed, or operated that machine a raise! No fooling, the end result was that good, and I do not impress easily.
