  • RazoRock GOAT Double-Edge Safety Razor - CNC 316L Stainless Steel

VARIOUS OPTIONS AVAILABLE: Use Drop Down Menu to Choose

Introducing the RazoRock GOAT, a masterfully crafted safety razor that pays homage to the iconic German 34 razor, whose patent expired in the mid-1970s.   Many believe this German 34 razor is the "G.O.A.T." in safety razors which is an acronym used to call something the "greatest of all time".  Our RazoRock GOAT is designed as an homage to this razor and is precision-engineered in Ontario, Canada.  The RazoRock GOAT is CNC milled on a state-of-the-art German 5-axis machine from billet 316L stainless steel known as "Marine Grade Stainless Steel" for its exceptional hardness, durability, and corrosion resistance in wet environments. This makes it the perfect material for a safety razor built to withstand the test of time.

The RazoRock GOAT combines cutting-edge technology with timeless design. Its razor head is 3D milled to achieve tolerances tighter than any other razor on the planet—far surpassing what cast and chrome-plated razors can offer. The result is a flawless blade fit every time, with no need for manual alignment thanks to the cleverly designed head that securely covers the blade tabs for added safety.

Available with your choice of a SHORT RazoRock hollowed HD handle (82mm), a LONG RazoRock hollowed HD handle (100mm)or as a standalone head, this 3-piece razor also features an M5 x .8 threaded design, giving you the freedom to pair it with any compatible handle of your preference.

Also available in the same three options as a "+" which is a little more aggressive and takes it into the MEDIUM-AGRESSIVE range of our aggression scale somewhere between 26-28 on that scale.

Crafted for those who demand the highest quality, the GOAT is finished using a 3-stage mechanical vibrating process, ensuring unparalleled precision that manual polishing and buffing simply can’t match.

Built to last lifetimes with proper care, the RazoRock GOAT is more than just a razor—it’s a heavy-duty heirloom piece, destined to be passed down through generations. Elevate your shaving experience with the GOAT: a modern masterpiece inspired by the legendary German 34, reimagined for today’s discerning shaver...dare we say that this razor is even better but we will leave that for you to decide!

Material: 316L Marine Grade Stainless Steel

    PROUDLY MADE IN ONTARIO, CANADA

Finish: Please note, these razors are tools, not jewels. We use a vibratory tumbling finish process which maintains the highest possible tolerances for the razors. This means the razors will not be mirror finished and will not be mark-free. The razors may have some milling marks or finishing marks. The razors can always be jewelry polished by the client later but our goal is to sell the razor at the best possible tolerances and lowest possible price. The metal-on-metal contact from the handle locking against the base-plate will create a ring mark on the base. It's common for handles to have micro dents from the tumbled finish.

Finish: 3 stage, 24 hour, machine vibratory finish. It's important to note that our finish is designed to de-burr and make the pieces smooth with minimum effect on machining tolerances. It's a tool-like finish and not a mirror-type high polish; each piece is unique (no two pieces will be identical). We don't believe in hand polishing our machined safety razors because it's self-defeating. We spend so much time and effort getting the tolerances tight, a hand polish will just ruin these tolerances. We would rather give you a quality tool-like finish at a great price and leave it up to you if you want to put a jewelry type polish or gun-kote at the razor later at additional cost.

    Note: Blades are not included

    Perfect!!

This razor is truly my GOAT!! Heavy in the hand with a short handle. Very smooth and an absolute pleasure to shave with. The design and craftsmanship is typical of what I've come to expect from razorock.... Outstanding!! So happy with this one and have no doubt it will outlast me. Also want to give the team at Italian barber a shout out for the exceptional customer service!! I'll be back soon !

    Cheers!

    What’s in a name?

Been using my RazoRock GOAT a few weeks and it should be on anyone’s short list for Greatest Of All Time. Surprisingly close, shaving without fear, materials, looks, and price…GOAT checks all the boxes.

    the standard goat vs 34c

I did a comparison shave with the goat and the 34c. Closed my eyes and paid close attention and the only difference i could perceive was the goat was a tad wider than the 34c. That was it. That was my experience. Other than that, they felt identical to me. The goat was no more or less smooth, a hair more efficient, but not one bit more or less aggressive to me. That said. The gamechanger 68 is smoother, less aggressive, and more efficient, and the mamba 70 is smoother, even less aggressive, and more efficient than the gc68.

All in all i know a lot of people love the 34c. I like it too. Will this replace my 34c? Heck yeah it will. I really can't tell a difference between this and my 34c except the standard goat has a slightly wider head to cover the blade tabs. Does this make my top 5? No. But the mamba 70 lands in 4th place and my game changer 68 lands in 5th! Both are ranked higher than my timeless 68 which is polished and scalloped on the baseplate and head, but lower than my Rockwell 6S (which is rated number one). Goving it 3 stars because it's a solid middle of the road razor. It does land in my top ten for stainless steel razors tying at number 10 with the syntesi by goodfellas smile

My shave quality and feel is why i give it 3 stars. It's one of those variables. If you LOVE the 34c then this is that razor in stainless steel and you'll rate it 5 stars probably. But for le the rating is the same as i give the 34c.

RazoRock GOAT Double-Edge Safety Razor – Personal Review

I know many will disagree with me, but I find the feel of the RazoRock GOAT to be a bit unfriendly to my face. I’m a wet-shaving aficionado who has been shaving this way for more than 18 years, with over 80 double-edge razors and 15 straight razors in regular rotation, and I own multiple Italian Barber razors—the Game Changer .68, Game Changer .84, Lupo, BBS, and Hawk—all of which I genuinely love. With the GOAT, however, I’ve experimented extensively with different blades, angles, and lathers, and it simply never feels good on my face. In my view, it misses its design intent: it’s heavier than the razor it seeks to emulate, yet delivers a noticeably harsher, less pleasant shave. That said, I remain a fan of Italian Barber’s ingenuity, customer service, and product lineup, and I’ll continue purchasing from them—though the GOAT will remain unused on a stand in my cabinet
