    Very close to Aventus

    I received a sample of Creed Aventus with a purchase of Green Irish Tweed allowing me a comparison between it and Fine Platinum. They are very close. I'm not a pro at this kind of thing, but I will say Aventus is more "vivid" and "bright" in the opening. Platinum is a bit more muted. Once both are in the dry down they become much more similar. If I did not have both at the same time, I doubt I could tell the difference. Given Platinum is less than a tenth the price of Aventus, it represents a good value.

    I have the real thing and I have this. They are literally identical. The only difference is the dent in your wallet after purchase. Do yourself a favor and get this!!
