Introducing the RazoRock GOAT, a masterfully crafted safety razor that pays homage to the iconic German 34 razor, whose patent expired in the mid-1970s. Many believe this German 34 razor is the "G.O.A.T." in safety razors which is an acronym used to call something the "greatest of all time". Our RazoRock GOAT is designed as an homage to this razor and is precision-engineered in Ontario, Canada. The RazoRock GOAT is CNC milled on a state-of-the-art German 5-axis machine from billet 316L stainless steel known as "Marine Grade Stainless Steel" for its exceptional hardness, durability, and corrosion resistance in wet environments. This makes it the perfect material for a safety razor built to withstand the test of time.
The RazoRock GOAT combines cutting-edge technology with timeless design. Its razor head is 3D milled to achieve tolerances tighter than any other razor on the planet—far surpassing what cast and chrome-plated razors can offer. The result is a flawless blade fit every time, with no need for manual alignment thanks to the cleverly designed head that securely covers the blade tabs for added safety.
Available with your choice of a SHORT RazoRock hollowed HD handle (82mm), a LONG RazoRock hollowed HD handle (100mm)or as a standalone head, this 3-piece razor also features an M5 x .8 threaded design, giving you the freedom to pair it with any compatible handle of your preference.
Also available in the same three options as a "+" which is a little more aggressive and takes it into the MEDIUM-AGRESSIVE range of our aggression scale somewhere between 26-28 on that scale.

Finish: Please note, these razors are tools, not jewels. We use a vibratory tumbling finish process which maintains the highest possible tolerances for the razors. This means the razors will not be mirror finished and will not be mark-free. The razors may have some milling marks or finishing marks. The razors can always be jewelry polished by the client later but our goal is to sell the razor at the best possible tolerances and lowest possible price. The metal-on-metal contact from the handle locking against the base-plate will create a ring mark on the base. It's common for handles to have micro dents from the tumbled finish.
Finish: 3 stage, 24 hour, machine vibratory finish. It's important to note that our finish is designed to de-burr and make the pieces smooth with minimum effect on machining tolerances. It's a tool-like finish and not a mirror-type high polish; each piece is unique (no two pieces will be identical). We don't believe in hand polishing our machined safety razors because it's self-defeating. We spend so much time and effort getting the tolerances tight, a hand polish will just ruin these tolerances. We would rather give you a quality tool-like finish at a great price and leave it up to you if you want to put a jewelry type polish or gun-kote at the razor later at additional cost.

I’m giving 4 stars now only because I bought it for my Son’s Birthday and that’s a couple of weeks away. Delivery and billing was pretty speedy, thank you.
I got started with DE razors during COVID, and curiosity moved me to try more razors and base plate options than really necessary. My criterion is what I will call effectiveness, which is a combination of a good blade angle for smooth shaving without tugging, flexibility to stay close to the skin while navigating different planes, and hardly any skin irritation. Beyond a certain point, I find that more aggressiveness does not increase effectiveness but rather increases the risk or actual occurrence of skin irritation in challenging areas. Prior to the GOAT, I had perhaps 5-6 razors with which I could achieve a good result but was curious about the GOAT, having started out with the Merkur 34C. After using the GOAT for more than a week, and briefly going back to another razor for comparison, I would say that the GOAT has become my favorite razor. I'm getting the desired combination of a close, even shave with hardly any skin irritation. For sure, this is a bit more aggressive than the 34C but still in the medium range and, I find, in a sweet spot for me.
This was supposed to be an homage to the 34C HD, but in a side-by-side comparison shave they really only look similar. This piece has a nice heft, the knurling feels better in the hand, and it delivers a better shaving experience than the 34C. A solid soap, brush, and splash also helped round out the science experiment and ensure success.
The GOAT is fantastic razor and really all one would need. Like others, its a bit too efficient to be a daily driver like the 34C, but works perfect as an every other day shaver. A light touch as there is a just a smidge of blade feel, and I had a very smooth shave. I've only ran a Permasharp through it, and if I use a milder blade then maybe it could be used daily. The fit and finish is great, you can see the precision of this razor head. Blade alignment is spot on. I'm looking forward to putting this razor into a regular rotation and getting many more wonderful shaves.
