    Fantastic!!!

Paired this with the 316 SS Halo handle for a truly amazing shave. 2 passes easy with minimal cleanup and no irritation per my alum block test. For less than $30 I have a stellar, hefty, good looking and fantastic shaving razor. Used a new Astra Platinum for the blade because it's my go to mid sharp mid smoothness consistently performing blade. This is definitely my heaviest razor and possibly my best looking razor, definitely my most aggressive razor. Ide say 7/10 on aggressiveness, depending on your blade and skin type. YMMV

    Nice shave...not for beginners

So I have been shaving with DE safety razors for about 6 months now, working my way through a butterfly style razor, then the RazoRock Teck II (great price) and now to using this head with the RazoRock HD Handle - 316L Stainless Steel. I like 2 piece safety razors better than butterfly razors. It has been a better experience progressing in the different stages to finally get to this head. You have to take your time and not apply pressure when using this head. The first time I used it I accidentally went sideways and sliced myself! Thank goodness for styptic pencils. Just take your time and concentrate on shaving and you will get a close smooth shave with head. My go-to blade is USA made Personna blades in the blue box.

    every mission needs a mentor!

this razor looks really cool with the design of the teeth. The shave is very smooth yet close and a bit aggressive all in a great balance. this a no-brainer upgrade from the mission head. its surprising that with the de89 I have I used to knick myself a lot more with the mission or mentor even being careless I haven't bled much at all

Super smooth in one pass. Instantly thought “wow this is aggressive.” First time I’ve cut myself with a DE. I was scared the whole shave cuz it was so aggressive. Sure enough...blood. But, yeah the result, other than blood, is super smooth.
I like the German Slant 37. Really like Raz o rock quick change with Treet or Astra. Favorite is Teck II with Astra.

    Blade alignment issues

I recently purchased the Mentor (head only), SLAB (head only), and Mission (with handle). I'm very happy with all but the Mentor. The Mentor shaves fine on one side of the DE razor head. When I make passes with the other side, however, there is no cutting action against the whiskers. It's as if there is no contact being made between the whiskers and blade. I've tried the head with multiple blades, each with the same result. I rate the Mentor at 2 stars... for the side that is doing it's job.
