  • The RazoRock 400 is a brush we've been wanting to make for a long time; one of my all-time favorite handle designs, super comfortable in the hand and great for loading soaps from deeper mugs and bowls.

After we released our 400 butterscotch resin brush, we received dozens upon dozens of emails asking us to re-create the vintage aluminum handle version. When our clients ask, we deliver! Not only did we make the handle in silver aluminum, we are also offering it in matte black and glossy black anodize finish. To make this version different and exciting from the butterscotch 400, we used our now famous Plissoft knot so owners of the butterscotch can get a classic 400 with a different feel.

24 mm x 57 mm Plissoft Synthetic Knot

Vintage style handle inspired by the Rubberset 400

Handle Material: Solid Aluminum with Silver Anodize finish

    Weight: ~127 grams (4.5oz)

    Handle Height: ~80 mm

***Note: This brush does NOT fit on the RazoRock Universal Brush stand***

    Great Brush

This brush is head and shoulders above my Simpson T2. Handle is larger and more ergonomic. Knot is bigger and softer. You really can't go wrong with this one.

    Best of all Worlds.

I own 8 brushes in total; both badger and synthetic. This is by far the brush I would keep if I had to choose ONE.
-The weight is substantial. The aluminum is actually aluminum and if it isn't solid to the core, well then it's pretty close.
-The stack has the best characteristics of synthetics and the best characteristics of badgers at the same time. (Everyone knows what that means. It's too long to explain).
-The handle is the perfect length. Works well in the deepest of bowls The brush whips up thick, luxurious lather, and keeps it away from the handle and your fingers.

I can't say enough good things about the Italian Barber Co. I don't know how big these guys are, but they deserve to become a giant. Someone took my call late in the day (Michael) and did what he said he would do... imagine that.
I've ordered a few times but now they have a forever customer. 👍

    Great Brush

Handle - Solid aluminum that is well balanced and feels great in the hand.
Knot - The Plissoft has a softer feel compared to the other synthetic brush that I have (Stirling). The knot has absolutely no issues with loading any soaps that I have - tallow, non-tallow, or triple-milled, and creates a great lather. The splay is no issue while building a face lather.

Can't go wrong with a synthetic brush under $20 (US)

    My Best Brush!

Super soft bristles with a good backbone. Hefty weight to it, which I love. Creates a great lather!

    Pretty Hard to Go Wrong

This brush is a nice addition to my rotation. I never pick up a shaving tool if it or my hand has soap on it, but if you're concerned about losing your grip, this brush's handle is made for you. And its length makes it a good fit for deep shaving mugs.

The knot is short, which lends backbone that makes it load soaps more efficiently, but it's soft on the tips so it doesn't irritate your face. I like the weight and the look of the aluminum handle too.
