Almost as good as my Feather AS-D2 or Wundercar Slant

Don't be frightened by the "open comb", this is a great razor for novice and expert alike. The open comb is a bit more forgiving of shaving angle and it is not only wickedly efficient with most blades and soaps (in my hands) but it is very gentle. Just like its brother the 24C, which differs only in handle design, it is a wonderful and inexpensive DE razor. My Feather AS-D2 and my RazoRock Wunderbar Slant that cost me ~$130 each, does a better job but the cost 4 times as much and are a bit pickier of shaving angle. For me, Voskod, Gillette Nacet, Gillette Rubie, Bluebird, Kai, Feather, Bolzano and Treet Carbon blades work best. But YMMV.

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

IN THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF I HAVE BOUGHT 3 TTO'S, AND 6 THREE PC RAZORS, HUNTING THE ONE THAT IS JUST BELOW MY MUHLE R41 IN AGGRESSIVENESS AND SUITABLE FOR DAILY USE WITHOUT BEING SO MILD IT TAKES 3 PASSES TO GET AN ACCEPTABLE SHAVE. THIS RAZOR GIVES A GOOD 2 PSS SHAVE WITHOUT BURN OR WEEPERS, AND BLADE ALIGNMENT IS PERFECT. IT WOULD ALSO BE A GOOD CHOICE FOR BEGINNERS AS IT IS SMOOTH AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT. IMHO, ONE OF THE BEST OUT THERE IN WET SHAVING LAND.

    Love it

I was a little nervous about trying an open comb razor but this was described as a good mild entry to this style. The razor is definitely more efficient than my vintage super speed and is easier to maneuver with the differently shaped head. I have found this razor to be very comfortable to use and I haven't had much irritation or nicks from it. I was surprised how heavy the handle is, it is very solid and took some getting used to. The grip is great, I have no problem keeping hold of it whit wet and soapy fingers. The blade alignment looks perfect, just drop it in and you are ready to go. If you are thinking about trying an open comb razor than this is a good one to start with.
