  • The RazoRock 400 is a brush we've been wanting to make for a long time; one of my all-time favorite handle designs, super comfortable in the hand and great for loading soaps from deeper mugs and bowls. 

    After we released our 400 butterscotch resin brush, we received dozens upon dozens of emails asking us to re-create the vintage aluminum handle version. When our clients ask, we deliver! Not only did we make the handle in silver aluminum, we are also offering it in matte black and glossy black anodize finish. To make this version different and exciting from the butterscotch 400, we used our now famous Plissoft knot so owners of the butterscotch can get a classic 400 with a different feel.

    Premium brush

    Overall is premium brush both the plissoft synthetic and incredible handle.But I rated 4 stars because of mine got some dent on the handle and a little bit bad mood.
    I am a collector and need to collect shaving goods with no defect point.

    Fantastic brush for the price.

    Picked up the triple milled razorock soap no problem. Holds the water well. Far better then my omega brush and pure badger brush, and parker brush. I just wish it had come with a stand for it. It's well worth the money. I have spend about 300 over the years on different kinds of brushes. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in wet shaving. Don't bother trying anything else. Just buy this brush. You will be very happy with your purchase.

    Great brush, surprisingly heavy (in a good way)

    I've always thought the shape of this handle was coolly retro but never got around to buying one. When I saw that this was cast aluminum, I pulled the trigger, I figured it would be very very light, but it is not. There is a really nice heft to it that just feels good in the hand, both as you load and as you lather on the face. The plissoft brush just cannot be beat--such backbone yet such softness. I never thought I'd say this, but I will never use an animal-based brush again. They synthetics are just that good these days.

    Wonderful brush

    This is a wonderful brush. Love the weight of the handle and the softness of the bristles, while still having enough backbone to do the job. My only wish is that Italian barber restock the silver aluminum version so I can have the set.

    Only IB can do this

    I have a number of RazoRock Plissoft brushes, when IB introduced the 400 series I was taken aback, how could they sell the mighty Plissoft knot on a legendary handle for next to nothing? Well, I've stopped asking myself that question and have started asking why doesn't everyone offer the same quality at affordable prices.
    I have the silver handle, the butterscotch handle, did I need the glossy black? Well yes! At under $20 it's a no brainier.
    Great Plissoft knot, great well made (this isn't no cheap pot metal) handle in a fabulous glossy black finish. Buy one in all finishes to match your SOTD gear.
