    The RazoRock 400 is a brush we've been wanting to make for a long time; one of my all-time favorite handle designs, super comfortable in the hand and great for loading soaps from deeper mugs and bowls. 

    After we released our 400 butterscotch resin brush, we received dozens upon dozens of emails asking us to re-create the vintage aluminum handle version. When our clients ask, we deliver! Not only did we make the handle in silver aluminum, we are also offering it in matte black and glossy black anodize finish. To make this version different and exciting from the butterscotch 400, we used our now famous Plissoft knot so owners of the butterscotch can get a classic 400 with a different feel.  We have had many requests for the NOIR plissoft knot with the SILVER handle so we decided to run a Special Edition and it's available now!

    Smart looking, easy to use, good soap retention. A great addition to my shaving collection! And very affordable...

    Beautiful, but...

    This brush is beautiful. It doesn't fit a standard brush holder below the flange, but it does fit just below the flared-out part of the handle. I wanted to like using this brush as much as I like looking at it, but there are two issues that have sent me looking for an alternative. One is that the handle gets very hot if part of it is sitting in hot water while the brush soaks before lathering. The other is that the bristles are very soft. Soft at the ends is fine with me, but there's not much backbone. It seems squishier on the face than an Omega synthetic badger brush (i.e., a HI-brush), and much softer and squishier than an Omega synthetic boar brush (S-brush). The brush does lather well, both in a bowl and on the face.

    I will not comment on the product this time. I received my products with a long delay, but this does not cancel the faultless service from the store. The delay is not attributed to the store. I continue to be a happy customer of the Italian Barber.

    Razorock 400 brush

    I have not bought a new brush for a while and this Razorock 400 is amazing!! First of all, I was not a big fan of synthetic brush and my personal choice is boar. But this black synthetic brush has reasonable strong backbone, and the most impressive part of this brush is the one piece aluminum design of the handle! It is the closest to the original 400 handle under $40!!!! I was going to order the alpha and I am glad I did not. Thank you for making this amazing brush razorock!!!

    What a awesome brush, soft but firm, loads up really well and lays down the lather as good as it gets!
