  • I'm one of those rare birds that actually likes going to the mall with my wife. Why you may ask? Because I get to explore the latest and greatest at the fragrance counters! A lot of the inspiration for RazoRock products comes from fragrances I can't afford to purchase; surely I can't be the only one around here WITHOUT a limitless credit card or bank account?! This brings us to NOMAD. What is it?

One day, while strolling around a well air conditioned mall in Tampa, Florida, I stumbled into an Art of Shaving store. Low and behold, they were recently stocked with a bunch of Penhaligons fragrances and testers! Spray, sniff, spray, sniff... there were so many winners, but one scent stood out from the crowd... ZIZONIA! I was so stoked that I asked for a bunch of samples and brought them back to my business partner to sniff. Guess what? I wasn't the only one in love with this scent.

Fast forward a few years and with the aid of an expert perfumer in France, we have created a RazoRock version of Zizonia. It wasn't cheap and it wasn't fast but I hope you enjoy it as much as we do... and, it won't leave you feeling guilty.

Nomad After Shaving Splash pairs perfectly with our Nomad shaving cream soap, for the perfect 1-2 punch, be sure to pick up the set.

    Love This Stuff

I'm wearing it right now! My favorite splash after Saturnia.
Have continued to buy bottles of this stuff for the past few years.
Leathery, herbal and floral are how I'd describe it. Smells like the desert or the beach. Perfect for casual wear. Lasts long and doesn't over project.

    Delightful and subtle

To my nose, this beautiful fragrance is even better when it dries down and settles in than when first put on. Hard no to like, but sense of scent varies wildly from person to person.

    Nice scent!

Overall, I like the scent of this. I purchased this while on sale so I could get free shipping on some other things that I was purchasing. I’m glad I did I’m enjoying rotating this aftershave into my routine. I can’t say that I’m loving the soap as much. This was definitely a good purchase.

    Far Better Than Zizonia

I absolutely fell in love with this scent back when it was released as "Razorocktober." I bought a bottle on a whim, was amazed by it, and began to hunt for more bottles on the second hand market... I was lucky enough to find one on eBay. Fast forward to the release of Nomad... I had to buy more of this liquid gold! This scent reminds me of the smell of a fresh cologne mixed with Mediterranean/Oriental spices being roasted in an open air market. Razorock's formulation blows Zizonia out of the water - which I am bummed about - because Zizonia has too much of a floral dry down (as I have found with many Penhaligons fragrances), and a lack of the spiciness it has upfront. Razorock hit a home run with this one... now Joe just needs to release it as an edp.

    Good stuff

I'll start off it wasn't a favorite of mine when I first got it. Nothing usually is, as my tastes change a lot. But it's at the top of my list in my collection of 10 aftershaves right now.
I get the spice, I get the creamy woods, it's clean, it's masculine, it's inexpensive. I will pick up the soap next .
