100 Rapira Super Stainless DE Blade, 10 packs of 10 (100 blades)

Very good blades, they are not the sharpest but are Great Work Horse blades. They get the job done, not the smoothest blades but pretty good. For 3 or so shaves for this kind of money $8.00 for 100 blades One cannot go wrong.YMMV. I like them better than Shark blades about as good as Usta Derby blades. Second order for me at this price could not resist . Thank you IB for the great sale prices you continue to give your customers all year round (:

I can't believe how cheap these are. It costs about $4 for each Gilette Fusion cartridge, yet for $13, you get enough to DE blades to last you about 2 years, if you use 2 blades a week. I guess that doesn't factor in the increased cost of the razor handle or shipping. If your razor handle costs $60, because they can be expensive and you buy only one, uh huh, and it lasts 5 years, then that is about $12 per year. Then, $10 for shipping for both. Say $25 for both, per year for DE shaving.

If you need two Fusion cartridges every week, that would be 100 per year. At $4, that is $400 per year on cartridges. So, about 16 times as expensive, at full price. But, I'm getting my 100 blades on the Black Friday special for $6, instead of $13, so I'm saving a little more than that.

Oh, I've used them before and I know they work. It's ironic that the kind of people who get involved in this hobby are usually well to do, when the hobby would benefit the poor much more than the rich!

Best pre-shave prep for me without waking up my family at 5AM: 1- Wash my beard with regular soap and rinse with hot water. 2- Soak a hand towel with steaming hot water and apply it to my bread for 2 minutes, and then lather up.

Applying a hot towel results in a close and comfortable shave for me. Highly recommended.

Russian blades are great, Rapira Lux and Swedish are the sharpest but my face likes Voskhod, Rapira Stainless, and Ladas). My daily razor is Merkur 33c (classic) paired with Rapira Stainless, Ladas, or Voskhod. I get five great shaves with no nicks or irritation and comfortable post shave. I get 5 great shaves. Not as sharp as Astras but very similar to Gillette Sliver Blue. Shaving soap that did NOT burn my skin or cause rash is "Italian Barber Amici". I have not tried other soaps for sensitive skin yet. I normally use unscented shaving soaps due to skin sensitivity. Shaving brush: RazoRock Plissoft Synthetic. If you are new to DE shaving try different blades.
