I was always intrigued with Shavettes and how they they resemble a straight razor. I bought a AC Shavette back in Dec 2020 and had some experience with KAI DE blades that are very good also, so I tried these Protouch guarded blades. They are just a joy to use & are Sharp & smooth + good longevity as compared to a naked edge blade. I get more confidence with using them and they give a nice close shave, the guarded part does not let the blade dig in like a naked blade would on operator error so less shaving drama and nicks IMO. Blade Life is good and I get 8 very good shaves per blade and then they start to drop off for my medium type beard. If your learning how to use a shavette these are what a person wants IMO.
