It is designed specifically for shaving enthusiasts who want to experience something genuinely new and participate in the evolution of future RazoRock products.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRazoRock SMILE Head \u0026amp; Body Razor\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEvery now and then, a razor comes along that challenges the way we've always thought shaving should work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe RazoRock SMILE is one of those razors.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA little backstory.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI've been shaving my head for over twenty years and designing razors for more than a decade. Like many head shavers, I started with cartridge razors such as the Gillette Sensor and Mach3. They worked well enough when shaving every day, but if I let a few days pass, they would clog constantly and become a nuisance to rinse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEventually I switched to the Gillette Guard. It clogged less, but the highly flexible pivot encouraged me to apply pressure without realizing it, often resulting in irritation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOver the years I experimented with countless safety razors and ultimately settled on the RazoRock BBS Open Comb as my personal favorite. It delivered everything I wanted: no clogging, no irritation, no cuts, and consistently comfortable shaves.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere was only one small drawback.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen shaving the rounded surface of a head, only a relatively small section of a straight razor blade is actually making contact at any given moment. It wasn't a major problem, but it always seemed like there had to be a better way.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen my wife planted a seed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter years of designing razors, she looked at me one day and said:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\"You've made so many razors for men. I think it's time you made one for me, for shaving legs.\"\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe idea sat in the back of my mind until one afternoon when I was peeling an apple with a curved knife.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat's when it hit me.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhy are razor heads always straight?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHuman bodies aren't.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHeads are curved. Legs are curved. Arms are curved. Almost every area we shave has some degree of contour. What if a razor head could better match those natural curves?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI searched everywhere for examples of a safety razor using a curved or concave shaving geometry and couldn't find anything quite like it. At first I assumed there must be a reason. Maybe it was dangerous. Maybe it simply wouldn't work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI brought the concept to our Head Machinist fully expecting him to tell me I had lost my mind.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInstead, he loved the challenge.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe started sketching ideas immediately.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe first prototype was machined and, to my surprise, it shaved my head beautifully.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen I handed it to my wife.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter her first leg shave she stepped out of the shower and said:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\"Wow, this actually works great. I'm keeping it.\"\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt that moment, a razor was born.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOf course, the first prototype was only the beginning. It took numerous revisions to refine the geometry and ensure that safety and ease of use remained the highest priorities. The result is the RazoRock SMILE, a unique dual-purpose razor designed specifically for curved surfaces of the body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne side features our innovative concave shaving geometry, allowing more blade edge to engage rounded surfaces. The opposite side uses a traditional straight geometry, giving you a familiar shaving experience whenever you want it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe also produced two versions:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSMILE Standard\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e– optimized for maximum comfort and everyday use.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSMILE PLUS\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e– featuring a slightly increased blade gap and effective blade gap, designed for users who prefer a touch more efficiency while maintaining a comfortable shave.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRecently I brought the SMILE to my friend Matt Pisarcik at Razor Emporium. After examining it, he confirmed something I already suspected:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\"Women don't buy safety razors.\"\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe's probably right.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSelling a safety razor designed with leg shaving in mind may be an uphill battle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut the SMILE isn't just for women.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's a true head-and-body razor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUse it on your head. Your legs. Your arms. Your chest. Your back.
