    The Parker A1R Travel Safety razor has a handle which screws together and the infamous Parker Safety Razor 2 Piece head assembly for a close shave. This razor has a sure grip handle.       The "infamous" Parker Safety Razor 2 Piece head assembly?

      The description for this razor includes "the infamous Parker Safety Razor 2 Piece head assembly." Is this accurate? The word "Infamous" means disreputable; well known for some bad quality or deed.

      Better then a travel razor

      After the vacation I have been going to this razor most often. I have over 25 this is better than most. You can feel the blade but for some reason very smooth and no irritation I can not say enough all I can say is this is a must.

      Bought this merely as a simple travel solution. Soon thereafter, I discovered that this razor when paired with a Voskhod blade (for me) delivers the best shave I've ever received. Better that other brands, better than $200 stainless steel razor I own and yes, better than my barber's straight razor. Thus is my first Parker. I will be buying a long handle version for home.

      In my opinion - Excellent!
