  • Semogue Owners Club Finest (2 Band) Badger Shaving Brush, Cherry Wood

    This brush is the first Semogue that is stuffed with the very exclusive 2 band Finest badger hair. This rare hair comes from the North of China from the badger species "Meles Meles" also known as European Badger or Eurasian Badger. It provides great backbone and very soft white tips which makes this brush great for either soaps or creams.

    After the great success of the 2010 Limited Edition brush, this Semogue 2 band sets another milestone that Semogue achieves in the exquisite badger brush market.

    This fine brush is totally made by hand from start to finish. The handle is hand turned by a skilled woodsman and later is hand sanded one by one. Then, the knot is made by the master craftsman using the traditional methods passed by past generations to provide the most wonderful brush.

    The knot has a 24 mm diameter and 53 mm height. The handle is 59 mm tall and has 37 mm in its widest point. The beautiful wooden handle is made of cherry wood.

    First brush and it's excellent

    This is my first shaving brush. I did a lot of research online before buying. It was more than I planned on spending but it was worth it. I recently switched to an injector razor so I wouldn't be leaving behind such a large trail of plastic for my shaves. This went the same for shave creams I'd been using. At 72, I'm used to what I've been doing for decades. This switch has been worth it. It takes a bit longer in the morning now but my shaves are as close and clean as ever. This brush is a big part of making what had become routine into a morning indulgence. I'm exceptionally happy with the choice I made and would recommend this brush to anyone. It whips up a fine lather and feels comfortable on the face. I look forward to discover what it will be like in a few more weeks when it is broken in.

    This Brush is Amazing!!!!

    This brush is hands down my favorite brush I own!! The backbone is absolutely perfect, and the silky smooth feel of the tips is like heaven on my face every time I use it... I actually own 4 of these now , just to make sure I always have one, incase somthin ever happens to the others.... I think every wet shaver should treat themselves, and own one of these brushes... This brush is definitely going to be known as a true legend... If you don't have one yet, do yourself and your face a favor and get one...You wont regret it!!!!

    Incredible Badger Brush for Boar Guys!

    So I have had this brush for a week now and now I have a new favorite brush. If you are a Boar guy tempted by Badger then this is the brush for you. The tips are very soft and feels like a pillow on the face. I was very impressed with how dense the knot is and how much backbone it has as well. I use this brush the same as I did my Omega boar brush and the results speak for themselves. The handle material looks and feels great. I love the wood and the SOC stamp. Highly recommend this brush!

    Awesome Brush

    I just got this brush a couple of days ago and have used it 4 times already. As a semi-experienced shaver [over 50 years of shaving ] I really like this brush for the softness on the tip and the firmness in then body. What caused me to buy this brush was , watching the video with Joe on getting a good lather and he was using this brand of brush in the video. I told myself that if Joe liked this one so much as to use it in the film then I was going to get one to if they had them for sell. They did and I am glad that I got one. I fell in love from the beginning with this Semogue Owners Club Brush. It really does the job just right . It whips up a nice thick lather in the dish or on the face each and every time. There is no itchyness at all as it is very smooth to the face while working the soap up which in turn causes a smoother shave. Thank you Joe for another great product.
