    THE HOG is a Small, practical brush, perfect for travel and with a high quality bristle, this small brush is a champion of practicality. Especially on the go when a real battle brush can make a difference. The Hog is not a big brush but it's a great brush.  It is very similar to the Omega 10019.

    The question that often arises is why buy a cheap pure bristle brush when there are badger brushes that are much more valuable? The answer is simple! we are old-fashioned and we think that the bristle brush (if of high quality) is the best brush that can be used, resistant, economical, eternal but above all structurally, the bristle improves with use becoming docile and gentle on the face while maintaining its incredible strength and lathering speed, even on the most difficult soap, which is impossible for badger brushes, given their inherent softness.

    "Good little fella" at a great price

    Nice little brush. Made by Omega for The Goodfellas Smile brand which is pretty cool. Smaller boar is what I was looking for and these loft dimensions are perfect. Used it only once so far, so it needs breaking in, but I can tell it's a keeper. PLENTY of backbone for harder soaps, and don't be fooled by the small size...it can hold enough lather for three passes if you manage it correctly. If you're just getting into wet shaving, I'd recommend this brush for sure. For those of you that are worried about the so called 'funk' or barn yard smell of a natural fibre brush...don't worry about it, the smell goes away within a week or so of regular use. To help quicken the 'de-funk' process, I've known people to do a few "pretend" lathers using Ivory soap, but...in all reality, that's kinda cheating...these brushes are 'tools of men' and you should experience the break in process in full...lol!
    All in all very good brush, try one out. Would've been a 5 star rating, however the handle is hollow and has a"thin feel" to it...it's VERY comfortable to hold, but the plastic could've been a bit heavier for an Omega product in my opinion.
