    Crown Shaving Co. Shave Cream

At first glance, the container looks very professional, the cream itself looks like real thick lotion but in a pearly nice way. The sent was like toothpaste in a refreshing way. When I applied the cream on my face to start to lather, it happen quickly, but I noticed I needed a little more cream to get the usual lather I obtain with other products like Proraso. The lather felt really nice and it was thick and a little slippery like bathing soap. Overall I gave it a 3/5.

I have been using this lather with the Razorock Hulk brush. Talk about an explosion of lather. My face looks like a marshmallow. This stuff really is great. It forms a rich lather easily and quickly with a very nice slick protective surface resulting in a very comfortable shave. If you like lots of lather, and I do,this shaving cream is worth a try.

I have taken some time to write this review because I normally don't review. However this shaving cream in my opinion is the Real Deal.
I have at least 25 different shave soaps and creams along with many silvertip brushes and safety razors. I have undergone many rotations with this cream along with different brushes and razors and I keep putting it in my top rotation. I think I love it because of the way it wakes you up with the fresh scent of spearmint and eucalyptus. The rich lather you can whip up with this is so thick that when you shave the razor glides with minimal effort and drag. After washing it off your face feels smooth and soft. I really look forward to starting my day and shaving with this cream in the mornings. On a last note I feel that there is a great value for the money as I have many more expensive shave creams and soaps that don't really compare to this one.
I think that as long as I am shaving ,this will be my top performer.

    My favorite shaving cream

I've gone through a lot of different shaving creams, and this one is my favorite. The combination scent of eucalyptus and spearmint is near intoxicating. The cream is silky smooth. A very small dab of the brush is all that's needed to build a rich lather that's more than adequate for a three-pass shave. Cushion, glide and protection are all outstanding.

You can't argue scent preference, but the other reviewer got it completely wrong when it comes to this cream's value. At 4 ounces (118 ml) for $24, this cream is price competitive with the other best creams on a per ml basis. At 8 ounces (237 ml) for only $10 more, this is a very large tub that actually costs less, on a per ml basis, than many of the lesser creams on the market and is a very good value. A single 8oz tub usually lasts about 3 - 4 months of near daily shaving.

Does not compete at this price point.

The ingredient list had me hoping the product would have a wonderfully complex fragrance, unfortunately I can't detect anything beyond spearmint. Shaving with this cream reminds me of stepping in gum, Wrigley's spearmint gum specifically.
This is the softest, wettest cream I have ever experienced, making it very difficult to pick up a small amount with a brush. It's easy to make a thick foamy looking cream, unfortunately it dries out on the face quickly. Based on the rate I have been using the product, I would expect only 40-50 shaves from the 8oz tub.
The product is priced in the range of some outstanding soaps and creams, and my 2-star rating reflects the fact that it doesn't measure up to the competition at this price point. In my opinion, this product is grossly overpriced.
