Note: Natural animal bristle brushes will have a slight odor when new; this odor will disappear after after a dozen or so uses. Also, boar brushes need about 15-20 uses to 'break-in', you will notice a huge improvement after a month of daily use.

    Nice quality boar brush

Bought this to complement my Semogue 730 Badger, as they both have the same handle that I am really comfortable with. The 830 is a good quality boar brush with strong backbone and good lather holding abilities as well. I like it now with only a handful of shaves so far, and I am sure it will only get better once broken in a bit.

My first and only boar brush. It takes 30-50 uses to soften the tips, so be patient and you will be rewarded.

    Unreal

I got this as my 2nd brush and it is unreal! I have a fine badger that cost 4x as much as this and yet this is the brush I always reach for. It was good from the start, but after breaking in this has become softer than my fine badger.
Recently I got an Omega Pro 48, and after being spoiled by this I'm not sure why I bothered with another boar brush...
Worth every penny and super highly recommended!
