  • Proraso Shave Soap 75ml Travel Tub-Menthol and Eucalyptus - New Formula

Proraso Shaving Cream Soap will instantly transport you to a time when “The Barbershop” was a place for men to congregate and “shoot the breeze.”

Ludovico Martelli and his son Piero started the Proraso brand in 1948 in Florence, Italy, and for the past six decades Proraso products have been the lubricant of choice for millions of Italian Gentlemen and thousands of Italian Master Barbers. How can all these Italian men be wrong?

I believe the reason for Proraso's success lies in the formula. A glycerin based cream, enhanced with oils of coconut, eucalyptus and menthol, Proraso Shaving Cream Soap instantly provides an invigorating cooling sensation that both soothes and protects your skin and will really “wake you up” in the morning.

Proraso Shaving Cream Soap is made to use with a classic shaving brush. From my investigation, Italianbarber dot com has the best price in North America for Proraso Shaving Cream Soap so you owe it to yourself to give it a try. Based on the quantity we sell, Proraso Shaving Cream Soap is just as loved in North America as it is in Italy. Very highly recommended!

    Scent: Up-front eucalyptus/menthol.

    75ml "Ciotola" travel tub.

Note: This is Italian product sourced from Italy so the packaging may differ from the Proraso typically found in North America.

    Made in Florence, Italy.

    Ok soap, great price

I've used the Proraso creams for years but never tried one of the tubs so I thought I'd toss in this travel size container with my last order. I have mixed feelings about it. It isn't a bad soap, but I didn't find anything about it to be spectacular. The lather is decent but not as nice as what you get with the Italian Barber and Razorock soaps. It's easy to produce but I found it to not be as slick and protective as other soaps. The menthol is nice and there isn't anything offensive about it but it isn't anything exciting. I think if I was just starting out it would be a great option for beginners due to the ease of lathering. I just greatly prefer the creams to the offering.

I'd call it a three star soap in terms of performance, but I'll add a fourth star for the price. Italian Barber seems to have the lowest pricing on Proraso products on the market!
