    For the last 5 years, the number one question I've received concerning Proraso products has been... "When will they release a shaving cream in their white sensitive skin formula?"  It's been a long time coming but it's finally here, and from what I know ITALIAN BARBER is the first in North America to get it.  This is their famous green tea and oat formula specifically made for men with sensitive skin.

    Even if you don't know the history behind Proraso Shaving Cream, the minute you pull the old-school green metal tube from the mate paper box, you will be instantly transported to a time when “The Barbershop” was a place for men to congregate and “shoot the breeze.”  Ludovico Martelli and his son Piero started the Proraso brand in 1948 in Florence, Italy, and for the past six decades Proraso Shaving Cream has been the lubricant of choice for millions of Italian Gentlemen and thousands of Italian Master Barbers.  How can all these Italian men be wrong?  Although Proraso Shaving Cream wasn't the first product introduced under the legendary Proraso brand (the first was the Pre & Post cream), Proraso Shaving Cream in the green metal tube is their most popular product; according to my sources, which I believe to be reliable, Proraso Shaving Cream is also the best-selling shaving cream in Italy.  I believe the reason for Proraso's success lies in the formula.  A glycerin based cream, enhanced with oils of coconut, eucalyptus and menthol, Proraso Shaving Cream instantly provides an invigorating cooling sensation that both soothes and protects your skin and will really “wake you up” in the morning.

    Slick cream with nasty scent

    First the good: Lathers very well and the lather is very slick. Irritation free shave with no nicks. Price is great at $6.99 for a large tube.

    The Bad: The scent. I found nothing pleasant about it. Has a cheap soapy scent.

    I already had the Aftershave Balm, which is virtually scentless, and I thought the shaving cream would be the same. No such luck. I will be replacing this in my travel bag.

    Nice stuff.

    First of all this is a HUGH tube. At $6.99 this is like stealing.It has a lather that is effortless to whip up, and makes for a nice shave. The scent is barely there but plesant nevertheless. Im gonna guess that this tube will last At least 100 shaves.

    I'm a fan of Proraso's price, ease of lathering, and consistency. But the post shave dryness from most of their products really bugs me. Most artisan shave soaps now a days provide something of a post shave protection, but came at you with a steeper price point. This product finally met something I've always wanted from Proraso. The first few shaves with this and I noticed the almost complete reduction in my skin sensitivity after the shave. Proraso delivers a sensitive skin soap as described and at the same price. Now if only they could just add their wonderful Sandalwood scent to this, I'd probably be set for good!

    It's finally here !!!!

    As a wet shaver that's been shaving with straight razors for many years I've had the opportunity try many soaps and creams. Some of them were excellent many were average and others were down right garbage.
    The Proraso White shaving cream is such a hard find around North America that I ordered three tubes without hesitation, as I feared it would sell out as soon as word got out in the shaving community.
    After stropping my 6/8 razor and whipping up this amazing cream in my warm scuttle I brushed this silky cream on my face and proceeded with an absolutely amazingly smooth shave.
    This hard to find cream will easily out preform many creams that are above $30 at a fraction of the price.
    This cream has a great fresh scent, a silky lather that does not irritate and delivers a stunning shave that will make this hard to find gem a regular purchase.
    Thanks to the guys at Italian Barber for offering this amazing shave cream.
