  • The most popular vintage safety razor on the market, based on my experience, is the Gillette Tech. The Gillette is loved because it's a very mild shaver and can be found on eBay or at antique shops for a relatively inexpensive amount of money, usually under $20. All in all, it's a great little shaver. The RazoRock TECK II is inspired by the Gillette Tech but with modern day improvements to make the shave more efficient. The RazoRock version also has thicker chroming and increased weight.

    Weight: ~3.6 oz

    Handle Length: 110 mm

An awfully good razor for the price

Don't let the incredibly low price fool you. This is a very good razor, much like the vintage Gillette Tech razors from decades ago.

    Good Value

Definitely good value for a razor but a bit on the heavy side and the handle can be slippery in wet hands.

Good Razor - Handle is not interchangeable

I bought this razor to go in my travel kit, but it works so well I added it to my regular rotation of razors.

One thing they may wish to add to the product description that it cannot be used with other Razorock handles. When I tried to use a different handle, I noticed it did not tighten down completely. I tried it on the other Razorock handle I own with the same results.

I am pleased with the razor. But it may useful to buyers to let them know other handles won't fit. It may be bad if they try it and find out the hard way.

Really good razor - wow !

For the price, this thing cannot be beat. It is my daily driver now, and i have many razors. Mild, yet efficient enough - just love it !

Great Razor, Especially At Such A Low Price!

What a fantastic price for an efficient, yet mild razor! Identical to a Baili BD191 and (at a much lower price) a Vikings Blade godfather, there's a reason why this Gillette Tech inspired design is very popular. Even with the large gap and exposure, the rigid blade clamping prevents deflection of the edges when cutting and makes it a great beginner razor. I discovered this after later putting it back into my rotation, especially making sure to fully tighten the head each time (otherwise it will definitely bite you). Nice features of the design include that the blade tabs are covered, while supports at the 4 corners align the blade better than center posts. I also like the long heavy handle, and nice chrome plating.
